The Triple Helix Science in Society Conference for sixth form pupils will be held on 5th April 2012 at the University of Cambridge.
The conference will involve around 50 pupils and teachers from the UK and the USA and will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to explore the ‘big questions’ in science in society, in collaboration with their peers from across the globe. The conference has been planned with interactivity in mind – the attendees are the main players. Pupils will gain not only increased knowledge and awareness of science in society, but training in analytical thinking, science communication and teamwork. The conference experience will extend from the day pupils register to well after they leave, with preparatory activities and extensive materials in the conference pack.
